It was amazing !

Hello ! My name is Samya and I went this year in Stuttgart with a group of 62 students. It was amazing! First I wasn't expecting this trip to be great but I was wrong. We learned a lot of things and had a lot of fun. My favorite part was when we had some free time in the city and after diner when we played games all together. I liked visiting the Porsche and the Mercedes museums too. Even if I am not an expert in cars they where beautiful. So if you are a student who wants to do this trip do it because it's really great but be warned you have to climb 400 steps every day. If you are brave enough than have a great trip !

My travel in stuttgart

This travel was very interesting, we have seen a lot of things.
First, Stuttgart is an amazing city, there is so many park, shops, the city is alive. For exemple there was the animated film festival, there was a lot of people who were sitting in the park, eating...

The streets are really clean, and the majority of people are friendly, we can talking with them easily.
People have more luxurious car than in France

I liked the hostel where we spend the night.

My favorite visit was the porsche museum because there was amazing cars.

Finally, it was a good experience, i have learned a lot of things and i have very apreciated to see another country than the France.

My amazing trip to stuttgart

For me, between good laughs, endless pool parties, meetings with the other German groups and poker night with the teachers. The trip to Germany was exceptional !!!

The thing that impressed me most is the number of high-end cars (Mercedes, Porsche) which for us in France is difficult to obtain while in Germany, these cars for them are the Peugeot from home.
If I return to Stuttgart, its will without hesitation. Between the Porsche Museum and Mercedes, its commercial area, its airport and the Burgers King there is something good to stay 1 week.

SURVEY

The nuclear in Germany :

The German stop the civil nuclear energy  for the electricity production. They have 8 nuclear power plants. The German try to don't use the nuclear enrgy because too polluting and have lots of risk

Abiture :

Abitur is the equivalent of the French high school diploma but with some difference. The students cross spend Abitur at the end of their studies of high school and middle colleges (13 years of studies), They have 3 subjects: English, German and Maths then they can choose a different subject which can bring back to them points in more as the History, the geography, Sports, Physics-chemistry. The Final Test is only written there is no oral.

German Food & drink :

The German eat Schnitzel, Salat, Spàtzle with sauce, Linsen and they drink lots of coca cola and beer

Personnal feelings ( Valentin Saltel )

From my point of view, Stuttgart is a city where there are lot of possessor of expensive car. The city is well maintained and the big street is beautiful. I've more prefer the Porsche museum than Mercedes museum because it structure of the Mercedes museum is awesome, inside the museum is brighter than the Mercedes museum.

My personal feelings (Alexandre Bouzariata)

I really enjoyed this trip in Germany, even if it was for few little days. The place where we slept was really as pleasant as the group of student with wich I made this trip. During this trip to Stuttgart I loved to visit the Porshe Museum, the single building was a piece of art by itself. when we were out the meseum we were asking ourself how it was able to stand. In the building we saw all the evolution of the cars during decades before the nowern cars.I also really enjoyed the free times in the streets of the city and I really liked the fact of speaking to the inhabitant of this city, to interrogate them about their way to live. The downtown was magnificent and the people didn't hesitate to help uss and to answered to our questions.

My travel in Stuttgart

The travel in stuggart is very good. I like all the visite, we see lots of different cars or engin.

I very like the moment in assembly line. I prefer Porche Museum than Mercedes Museum because I see beautiful cars they have civil cars and sports cars

German are very nice people they smile all time and when we put the question the try to have the better answer as possible.

During this trip, i could discover the city of Stuttgart. Stuttgart is known to be the birthplace of automobile. We saw the airport of Stuttgart then the museum hall and Mercedes. For Porsche, I did the tour of the museum who trace the first Porsche up to recent model. We discovered very modern architecture. The museum architecture reflect the value of Porsche. When the Mercedes museum I have just did a tour. I saw different vehicle of Mercedes: race cars, old cars, trucks… But the most impressive was the visit of Mercedes engime production. I saw a lot of robot worked together for assemble the engime. The cahin where circulate the engime is automatic. Stuttgart has also a dynamic city center. There is a long walk street with a lot of shop. In this street we have realized some interview. This activitate was rewarding because I could speak English. So this trip was very good and interesting.

The food in stuttgart

We buy on a typical shop a big bretzel because bretzel is the favorite food of German and we put some question to women who sell the bretzel. We eat a bretzel and we found that  really good, it was salt bread. The people bought it most of the time to nibble. They have sandwichs with bretzel bread.

German know some french speciality like chocolate croissant, wine, cassoulet, bread, Sauerkraut.

In Stuttgart, I interviewed a lot of tourist. There is a lot of diversity. The German are richest than French and i was shocked when I knew the "SMIC" in Germany is 1500 euros. They are very sociable.
But the most shocking is the pigeons. They don't have scare us. It does not move when you approach themWe even saw in a restaurant that would not go away even though we tried to chase

We are French students who went to stuttgart May 4, 2015 and and we returned May 7, 2015.
We went to Germany to visit several places for the sustainable development like the airport, Mercedes-Benz factory and museum, and Porsche factory and museum too. It was not the first time I went to Stuttgart, but then I saw things I had never seen.
It was rewarding to be able to speak a language with which people it is not their mother tongue. I can speak German because I’m learning it but I wanted to try my skill in English so I used very little German. My favorite visit was the airport because being able to put in place an airport staff member, and be able to take the bus which takes the passengers boarding. We could see also the most expensive in Europe fire truck.

Inside views of the airport

Germany

I went to a trip with the school to Germany for only 4 days. That was so short, but very interesting. We visited an airport, the Mercedes warehouse and other things in Stuttgart. Our teachers gave us some activities to do in the street. We had to ask questions to people who live in Stuttgart. I think that 80% of german people are friendly, the others did not want to answer our questions. But it wasn't a problem. We may have all the answers we needed for our work. I could take pictures with some of them:

My favorite activity was the free time in the street, talking with people. That was too much fun !
This trip allowed us to meet extraordinary people, other culture, and more. If i could go back, i'll do it.

During my travel in Stuttgart :

I visited that I wanted to see since a moment that is the visit of the museum Porsche due to its architecture which is rather impressive for my part, or we wonder even how this museum he makes to hold and by going into this museum or discover little him to the decoration and the way this museum was conceived and once inside an immense museum swamped with models impressing enough of mythical car from Porsche that we have is already seen on roads and of other than have him had still never seen. We can see that Ferdinand made had very innovative and creative ideas for these cars and in this museum cars were placed in a way that we discover the history of Porsche by beginning with old models and to finish on high cars range. On The last models of cars Porsche we can notice improvements level of the comfort, the esthetics and the used materials...

I preferred the museum of Porsche to that of the Mercedes but I liked well the place or gathered the test path for cars and production line of engines from Mercedes who shows an immense species one we would say that Mercedes's domain is concentrated in a microcosm what is rather impressive.

We are going to say that three quarters of the Germans possess cars of very good brand as Audi, Mercedes, BMW, Porsche thus local cars which are often for prices rather high and what it is not in France where we could see that thus that also marked me.

At the begining, when we arrived in Germany I felt very tired because of  schedules. But after a good night everything was better! The most prominent was the number of luxury car what I saw! According to me I can't see that in France.

My favourite visit was the Porsche Museum. I liked it because them history was interesting.
In brief I liked my trip in Germany and the compagny. Everyone was funny!

School trip in Stuttgart

This travel was very interesting, because I love cars. I visited the Mercedes Benz and Porsche Meuseum. It was very interesting because i saw the first cars of the world at Mercedes Benz meuseum. It was built by Daimler, Maybach and Benz. All the Porsches were very beautiful. The Stuttgart aiport was very awesome. It's very ecological. They have posts which look like trees in main hall, green roof and solar panel. This trip was very good and I would go again in Stuttgart.

My trip in Stuttgart

What struck me during this travel is the four hundred steps up to the hostel every night. And the excellent agreement during this travel. At first i thought Samya and we would stay together because we were only two girls on sixty-two students. But, i was wrong, we had great fun with the boys. And Stuttgart is a beautiful city and very dynamic with the shopping and the cafes.

Impression from Germany

During all the trip to Stuttgart what I appreciated the most, except the free time, was the visit to the Porsche's museum. First of all the building was really impressive because of it shape. We could see it from distance, and it stays in the air.
Inside of the museum, it was strange because we could think that there were a lot of people but thanks to this special shape it was fluid. Contrary to Mercedes-Benz museum, the audioguide was clearer in Porsche. But in the two cases, in the shop, we have to empty our wallet.

The Mercedes Museum

During our trip in Germany we visited many places, such as the Airport of Stuttgart or the Porsche Museum... But the one I liked the most was the Mercedes-Benz Museum because it was incredible. The Museum is really big and I couldn't visit all because I wasn't fast enough but I still seen most of it. At the start of the visit we received audio-guides and directly went to the top floor. From here we lowered each floors one by one. And in every floors we could listen to some part of the story of Mercedes-Benz. We seen lot of cars, old, older and new ones, but there wasn’t only auto-mobiles we have seen buses, trucks and even a plane. My favourite part of the museum was the elevator at the start it was really cool.

Life in Stuttgart

In the Stuttgart streets, I asked some questions to German people, about food, sustainable development and media.
We could observe that some Germans still read  newspaper, mostly regional newspaper. The group RTL represents a big part of the private German TV, like Eurosport too.
Regarding recycling point Stuttgart has a good level because they have three bins as in France and I saw a bottle's recycling system in front of a supermarket : if we put a bottle inside, it gave 0,25 euros. So we can say that German people have one more reason to recycle than French people.
Finally food prices are more adapted for students than in France because they are low. For example, a menu with 20 nuggets, one big french fries and one drink costs 10 euros, whereas in France the only 20 nuggets cost 15 euros.

My incroyable stuttgart travel

One day I saw one crossed Porsche in street of my village in France, I said to myself "I shall so like driving in a similar racing car" ! Stuttgart my offered this possibility! Go away a few from the city center and you will find Mr Porsche Ferdinand's museum! A museum everything in beauty with an incredible air design!
Porsche museum

Enter inside, you will find nothing of "right", everything is tilted to give you an impression(printing) of movement, even the course of the visit has nothing rectilinear !

I have even was able to go up to the inside of Porsche and confirm my opinions, she is great comfortable!

Almost stuck on the museum Porsche, the Mercedes-Benz museum is has within reach! A more impressive building is drawn up in front of us.

A museum on not less than 8 floors grouping(including) all of the vehicles of their creators: Carl Benz and Goettlieb Daimler. Passing by of the first "car" in the most impressive!

In passing of the bus in racing cars

A real pleasure for eyes! We shall not forget the airport of Stuttgart which does not count far from 9500 employees! A real sustainable airport! Its big columns which remind trees support a glazed building lit enlightened by the sunlight! Sheds topped with solar panels and with lawn increasing the thermal resistance of the building! Even the sound is measured, vehicles used on runways are hybrid vehicles consuming little and rejecting few CO2! We have even was able to pose in front of an enormous fire truck in the incredible capacities! A visit accompanied with a passionate guide who had forgotten it to open us the door so that we can have lunch !

The rest of the time we were in free time in our favorite playground: the city center of Stuttgart with its uncountable businesses and his supplier's shops phones "O2" every 150 meters! A playground or we crossed(spent) of good time(weather), but also to meet people and to discuss with them!

In the evening we grouped together for our daily exercise 408 steps leading to the youth hostel! Once at the top the view is impregnable, in the daytime and at night

An unforgettable stay in the country of "choucroute" and of
"Bretzel" which will stay in my spirits for a very long time !

In Germany I loved everything.

I liked the free time ,I go shopping (clothing, sport, weapon etc ...)

The Donner in Germany is 4.50€ ,it's the same cost in France but it is smaller, there is no sauce and no fried but it was good
I loved the german food, but not the sandwiches because there was only cheese or sausage.
The Breakfast was good because we have a lot of choice

We laughed a lot when we played billiards at all because I missed a lot of my shots but I had win 7 games
I really enjoyed the Wednesday night because it was the Champion League match (Semi final) FCBarcelone-FCBAYERN the atmosphere was just magical.(His should have been the psg in place of Barcelona)
There was a projection of full cartoon in the center of the square.
I liked to question the people.
I most preferred visiting porshe that mercedes because it was simple and beautiful cars were there was even a video game
The visit of the airport which was also interresting but too long at the airport they give us much information about the airport
I will never forget the stairs, it was really exhausting to climb

What I liked in Stuttgart

The thing I found the most amazing is the incredible activity in Stuttgart. We can't get bored in this city. There is so many entertainments, park and shops. In the street, some people were playing music or making a show. I found it really good. We also had the chance to see the Festival of Animated film. Lot of people were sitting in the park in front of the screen of the Festival to eat, drink or just to rest. This festival specially interested me because I like animation, graphics and sounds. I would make it my profession.

My personal feeling Launoy Nicolas

During this trip in Germany , what i most enjoy are the four hours of free time because Stuttgart is a amazing city , firstly because residents and tourists respect the environment. Indeed Stuttgart is very clean and there is very little waste in the street and in public parks .

One of my favorite memory was   the visit of Porsche's museum  , inside I saw unbelievable cars as fast as pretty .

MY TRAVEL IN STUTTGART

In first we are come to Stuttgart, we visited our rooms.

Then we visited the city center. I like this city center because it is big and there is lot of shops.
In this picture
we can see lot of shop
Then we visited the city center. I like this city center because it is big and there is lot of shops. The peapoles are verry good because there speak English verry well and they take time to anwers our questions.

Then we went to Stuttgart airport. It is not very big but it was original with his architecture because it looks like tree branches. We go into a big bus and we saw lots of planes, large fire engines and aircraft parts, and an electric van.

Furthemore we are go in the Porsche museum, I love this museum because we can find new and old cars and we even mounted in a Porsche Boxter GTS.

This is inside the Porsche Boxter GTS

Old bus and old cars
We are also go to the Mercedes production line and are go in the concession where there were very nice cars. We also went in the Mercedes museum, it was great we could see lots of old cars.

There is another thing that I liked. It was when we could be alone in the city, and we could talk to other people in English. But there is annother thing that i don't like, it is when he have to climb stairs and in aircraft when we have to wait lot of time to eat.
